Very nice, well executed and textured M1 Garand

I wonder if there is a way to disable reload in the odf, be a shame if you could reload before the clip runs out, it'd detract from realism and make it less of a unique weapon compared to a Tokratev or Gewerh-42, which have slightly lower rate of fire but larger Magazines.

EDIT:

Russian PPSH-41, 35 Round Box Magazine
Approx 2hours 15min work

Well thank you everyone for the feedback :)
Silas wrote:How long roughly did it take you to make that?
Roughly 3-4 hours of actual work. Lately, I haven't had alot of time to model, as I have school and other things in my life that take prority. So even though this model has been sitting in my saved projects list for awhile, I only just skinned it last night :) .

Great model, I'd make that barrel a bit more low poly if I were you, VisualMunge tends to delete polies that are too close together, like they did on my M4 model.
Of course I love doing high-detail stuff as well but hey, truth be told, ZeroEngine is quite pitiful in terms of poly limits.

The "deleted polys" is actually edges too close together welded together. Did you try Triangulating your model so it doesn't happen. I've had the same issue fixed by triangulating it in XSI first (either manually to have better control of normals or with the Triangulation command).

Hm, I exported my model to .obj to be used by my exporter, which I thought automatically triangulated it anyway.

Nope, exporting to .obj does not triangulate the model. Also I doubt the Exporter also triangulates because of these issues with close vertexes.

no obj exporter triangulates automatically

Little bit of a face lift. Might go redo the texture (maybe increase the res) and will probably make 3d front armour later.
Need to fix the shoulders too.
