having spawn node at diff heights without terrain(space)

k this is really frustrating me, as most of u know hopefully, terrain cant go higher than 327.66. i put a capital ship higher than that, howver i cant get the spawn node for the cp up there, anyone know how to get spawn nodes up there?

I don't know the shortcut key to do it in ZE, but you can always open up your PTH files in \worls\XXX\world1\ and manually change the node's position.

hmm, ok but, how do u know the exact piontt u would want to put it at?

EDIT: also. i dont get how to do it....

You're pretty much stuck to be honest. The best thing to do now is make the lowest point of your terrain to the very lowest that it can go then lower all the rest of your terrain accordingly. Then select all of your objects and lower them. Now you should be able to get the same distance between your terrain and your capital ship, but be able to move your spawns up.

Place the node, select it, press shift and left mouse and you can change the heigh...

@Tean: I dont know how to make terrain go lower... :oops:

EDIT:If I report back and it works, plz lock the thread.


REPORT: ok. what aman said, works, but just one qeustion before mods lock, can a spawn only have 1 node? becuz, when i raise another node, the other node goes even higher. but still it works, ubt answer my qeustion too.

If both nodes are going up, you probably still have the one you already moved selected. Try clicking it again to de-select it, then move your other ones.

Ehm....right click? :P Left click is for the whole path.
