SIDES and Water Problems

Alright, I'm fed up. I dedicated an entire map to learning SIDES. I used Saturn's tutorial on adding in a modded unit. I followed every step without flaw. The exact same thing.

However, whenever I test it out in SPTest the modded unit doesn't show up. I get this in the BFront.log:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Message Severity: 3
.\source\LuaCallbacks_Mission.cpp(195)
Lua ReadDataFile: Could not open dc:SIDE\CISDirt.lvl

Message Severity: 2
.\source\Team.cpp(531)
Team missing class "cisdirt_inf_battledroid" (check the side's .req file)

Message Severity: 3
.\source\Team.cpp(558)
Not enough slots to remove for special class "cis_inf_countdooku"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I checked everything and it's exactly how it's supposed to be. I followed the tutorial METICULOUSLY.

The same thing happens with water. I follow a whole tutorial but it still doesn't work.

The only conclusion I can come up with is that there's some sort of problem with my BFBuilderPro. Because I've tried these tutorials step by step before and it never works.

Can anyone give any feedback and what you might think the problem is?

The best thing to do is upload your DataMAP folder so we can check specifics.

Okay, I'll do that. I'll put it up in a little while.

Era', are you sure you've created a *.REQ file for the "cisdirt_inf_battledroid" unit into your "[DataModID]\Sides\[Your Side's name]\REQ" folder ?

Mine is cisdirt_inf_basic.req

Here's the DataModID folder. http://www.savefile.com/files/1591109

Desann', you should download this updated "DataEx" project, as it seems to work properly...

Thanks! What changes did you make to fix it?

The sounds don't work for some reason which doesn't really matter since it's just a test map. Anyway, apparently I need a hex editor to get my custom skin to overwrite the current one. Can anyone give me a link?

The following hexa-decimal editors are entirely free, Era' : Hope it'll help you...
