I'm now working on the new Rae map, and I'll use earth-like militia except clones for the next maps. That's why the uzi was there, and here's the:

Nice skin!
Really looks good except for a few places where the skin is blank

You're certainly better at creating textures from scratch than me, it looks pretty nifty, nice work!
You seem to like machine-pistols though

Sky, that looks awesome! I love Google Sketchup. It's a good program to start modelling with.Skyhammer_216 wrote:Dunno if this is allowed since its sketchup made, but meh;

Nice to see someone else other than my actually uses sketchup.
Also I have been seeing quite a few real modern life guns lately. Can't wait for those to be released.

I do! I find SketchUp better than XSI for buildings but XSI is miles better at everything else.(RAPTOR)BENSTWO{SGT} wrote:Nice to see someone else other than my actually uses sketchup. Also I have been seeing quite a few real modern life guns lately. Can't wait for those to be released.

Re: Model Showcase Thread v3.0
Improved version of lamp (two lamps = two many polys) ...apparently textures get 'kept on', so added some simple ones. Still eeds more work.
A little out of date, dumped the ring thing around the bottom and fixed the line across the glass.
EDIT:
And a bunch of lamps (gonna remove the two 'in between' ones) on a simple bridge I made.

Re: Model Showcase Thread v3.0
Hey, that looks really nice for a beginner.
I should try Sketchup sometime, I heard it has an extremely easy-to-use interface and is great for making buildings and props.

Re: Model Showcase Thread v3.0
yeah i would recommend sketchup for any1 who cant use XSI. it is uber easy, the way i found out about it was that me and my friend found it on the school computers and had a competition to see who could make the coolest mansion. Mine was a giant version of my initials
it was sweet.

Guys, keep it to XSI models, feel free to show Sketchup models in the other 3D modeling forum. This one's called "XSI ---> SWBF Series."
