not understanding cape tutorial

im sorry i just dont understand this part of the tutorial
so basically what im asking is where does it want me to put my cursor(in layman's(spelling?) terms)
here's my data inspector6. read the long int number on the Data Inspector, this is how many bytes are after it. There will be a 4-byte long- int after each header telling how many bytes come after it.
7. Put cursor on last byte of the long int.
what byte is the last of 7516? i got this after putting my cursor here: MODL\ does it want me to put the cursor 6 bytes away from the \ ?word[+]: 7516
interger[+]: 7516
longint[+]: 7516
ieee single: (random numbers)
binary: 10101010(something like that)
so basically what im asking is where does it want me to put my cursor(in layman's(spelling?) terms)
