It looks really great and the story behind it is really so cool man.
The greatest advantage of that craft was that they had a built in mechanism that allowed the pilot to fire its lasers at any time, and have the device automatically shut off and turn back on after every volley. This in effect allowed the TIE Phantoms to be virtually invisible 99 percent of the time.
Does it behave like this In-game ?

Nah I'm not going to give it the cloak ability. Maybe for space maps.

Yeah I added the TIE Phantom for you, JK514. I won't add new Imperial ships, but I might add a new Rebel ships if anyone has one.

The Phantom is an Interceptor, because it's (a) based on the TIE Interceptor design and (b) lacking a torpedo launcher, meaning it can't fire off torpedoes like an X-Wing.

OMG Teancum, the TIE Phantom looks awesome. Shame it wont be getting its signature cloaking ability. With the cloaking ability replacing torpedoes and relatively weak armour (they only took 1 shot, remember the second last level?) they would still be balanced. Great work though. Favourite map from BF1 keeps getting better. Look forward to it.

Yeah the only problem with giving it a cloak ability is the fact that, unlike in Rebel Assault II, it won't be able to fire while cloaked, so it makes it sortof pointless.

The Phantom
couldn't fire while cloaked, it revealed its location whenever it fired. If you use the bothan's cloak ability, it would be ideal because it
flickers occasionally as well, making it not completely invisible. Mind you, you would have to reactivate the cloaking device after each shot. In any case, I'm pleased to see the ship in anyway. Keep up the good work, at your own pace (

Updates:
The map is complete, aside from two small things I need to finish:
--The TIE Phantom's contrails (the white trails) and weapon hardpoints
--Lando needs the DH-17 blaster pistol
