the items are supposed to use only stocktextures, so right now they only got the shipped bumpmaps. the environment wont have normalmaps though because its already rather detailed, however andeweget plans to make beautifull specularmaps for it, so...

About how big are those objects?
I think a larger-than-normal bactatank would be best, the original seems kind of small.

On the other hand, you don't want it too big; it'd look awkward dropping out of dead bodies.

thats my opinion too, the items are a bit bigger than twice the size of the shipped items. they dont look ackward when dropped though, in my opinion, probably because the size is more horizontally oriented than vertically.

they could be more efficient though if i made polys of the disks of the bactatankcaps 4-sided.

I'm afraid there will not be a beta for quite a while (I think).

Trandoshan slavers are an enemy type in Extraction, and they are a playable side in Hunt mode. There won't be an actual local side as it wouldn't fit with any of the available modes.
As for a new medical droid, we'll be keeping the stock one.

that's GREAT much better than the stock tetra pack things
like the trando looks really HD

In other news, for more variety in the grenade types, the EMP grenade has been replaced with the EC (Electrostatic Charge) detonator. Like its
Republic Commando counterpart, this grenade will gradually drain the health of its targets by means of electrocution but minus the stun effect.
