well.. i tried to load a world on zeroeditor that was in assets/shipped worlds/bespin/world one/ and so i clicked on it and en error popped up saying " Zeroeditor can only load worlds that are in a subdirectory in the editor? So where do i put them?

And also when i try to add objects from the shipped worlds folder ,lets say a platfrom from bespin. i copied it into my ODF folder for the map i'm working on and i browsed for it in objects mode so when i tried to place it it show that i placed it but i couldnt see it? is there somthing wrong with my zero editor?

For the first question, I recommend copying 'zeroedit.exe' (you'll find it in the BFbuilder folder or in one of the datamodid folders) to assets/shipped worlds/bespin

Second question: You just need the MSH and TGA model and texture files, sometimes others too. If you open and odf in a text editor(notepad etc) you'll see a line "GeometryName = "something.msh" YOu just need to get the MSH file, which will ask for some tga (type of picture) files that are the textures. They are usally similar in name to the odf and the msh. You can find out what is missing from a map by munging and looking at the missing file listed in the black window.

MSHs and textures are usally in a folder called MSH in the same folder as the ODF folder for a shipped map.

Squirrel, if you want to get more informations on how editing shipped maps, then you should probably use the "Search" function. A man named "MutantMonkey" has already posted questions related to this form of modding...
