hey guys im trying to get rid of the spawn timer and the invisbile walls that surround the and other places .....thank you very much in advance

Um. I think by the spawntimer he means "Is there any way to spawn in zero seconds in multiplayer, just like in Instant Action"?

Not so sure about the "Invisible walls that surround the and other places" part. Please, tell us what is supposed to be in betwen THE and AND. Oh yes, and what is this "Other Places"? Be more specific. It's my profession to translate, but..*sigh*

If you're talking about the walls in maps like Cloud City and Alderaan, good luck. Even if you figure out how, I put close to 100 in each map to keep people out, so that's a ton of hex editing.

Guessing from your other posts, I think you're trying to mod the game on the PS2 and not creating your own map? If so, then you are mostly out of luck in terms of help from other GTers. You can edit the mission scripts and create a new mission.lvl (if VisualMunge can even create one for the PS2...) that forces your unit to respawn right after it was killed, but those maps would no longer work online (if you redistribute it to only certain people, then you might be be to play with them, but others would attempt to join and fail), and in SP there isn't a spawn timer anyway (at least not on the PC...).

It terms of hex editing the spawn timer, you would need to edit the game's exe and thats not something we do here at GameToast. Also, I don't know if anyone has hex edited out objects/barriers from a map.

Tip: If you add in 'map' between his 'the and' words, his request make much more sense. Missing one 3-letter word is still much better then a lot of other posts I've seen on GT. Of course, I'm only guessing it's 'map'...

Tip: When writing a post, try to be clear on what you are asking or saying. Its good to slowly reread your post when you use the 'Preview' button (and you should be using it). Correct letter case and punctuation goes a long way too.

Off-topic -- I can confirm that mission.lvl is one of those files that works cross platform.

Yes, I was able to do interesting things with that on the PS2 like add extra command posts and prevent the map from changing.

yes from the map sry for my spelling error... i want to get rid of the timer tht start when you select your class thus giving you instant action lke it was mentioned above

Translation: He wants the 15 second spawn timer when waiting to go into battle to be disabled or altered so that there would be no wait spawning your character.
