The Second one is perfect for instant action. Much better than the stock one.

Everytime I come to Gametoast the first thread I click on is this one to see if there's an update, and usually I'm not disappointed! Map looks great, excited about the change in the look of the menus and stuff. Cannot WAIT to get my hands on this mod!

Great work man!

Heh, it seems as if my shell changes influenced everybody else to do the same... :o Nah, but4srs, looks fantastic, Eggman! :o

That could be a problem - what if someone has both mods installed?

Whichever mod is loaded last will override the first. I'm going to take a wild guess and say Eggman uses BFC as his modID. Unification uses ME5, so it would load last.

However I'm pretty sure Marth and I had decided that we'll make the new shell optional upon release.

...or maybe I did it because I felt like it.

Map Update #7: Baroonda

I didn't realize how long it's been since I've posted any large updates in the mapping realm. Baroonda has actually been around for quite a while. Some of you might remember that I originally made the map as a standalone project about two years ago, then passed it on to Sky_216 for his Last Days mod. As of a few months ago, the map is back with me, and I've added it to Battlefront Chronicles. The map is unchanged from its original form (with the exception of a slight adjustment to the position of one CP), but I'm still very excited to have it in the mod. Baroonda is one of my favorite worlds from the Star Wars universe, and this is one of my favorite maps out of everything I've made. The map is medium in size with a swampy environment - kind of similar to the stock Dagobah. Each side gets a small collection of vehicles: an AAT and two STAPs for the CIS, two AT-RTs for the Republic, two light combat speeders for the Alliance, and two AT-PTs for the Empire.

Special thanks go out to FragMe! for the AT-PT.

Incredible job, Man-egg! :o One suggestion would be to give the white headlight-looking parts on the front of the a glow flag, but I doubt FragMe! assigned clusters to those polys on the model...

EDIT:

Huh, I somehow didn't see this... :o

I know, I know. It just seems like all of the large mods are all of a sudden having them after I started to show mine off. :o

Alright, alright, alright! I remember coming across Baroonda while snooping through the old updates to the Last Days mod (or maybe your original WIP thread) and hoping it would be released someday. Episode 1 Racer was one of my favourite Star Wars games, and it is always awesome to see people make maps based on environments that aren't heavily overused.

This mod is looking to be fantastic!

Really nice map you've got there. As far as your custom background's, are you planning on adding those to your mods folder, or are you going to have it separate? The reason I ask is, as some people have already mentioned, it might conflict with other ones installed.

I'll have the shell changes included in the main mod, but I can also release a "light" version of the mod without them.
