I gotta admit, the Eclipse is one badass ship, but you just gotta love the Super Star Destroyer. It's a classic.
Nice job with the droid, by the way.

i dont mind enveloping and exporting, thats easy, i just didnt want to UV map it cause UV mapping a model to another models texture is a pain in the arse and in cases other than this is just a waste of time, but this should work fine though since your model is just a copy of the original.

It's true I kept the same dimensions and used the old oneas a base, but in my droid model I added depth in places the PANDEMIC folks left undetailed. Though this increases polycounta bit it also brings the droid up to the detail level of the clone and rebel forces. The indention at the neck used to be a flat surface with the texture illusioning it to be depthfull, not it is indeed a cut out.
Likewise I had to model the whole thing's back as normally it would have had the backpack.
This model is based on the old one but is no means a 'copy' of the original, and this texture doesn't fit as it should because of the alterations I made to improve upon theold model. Overlaying this texture is hell

Can't wait to see an in-game screen. You could make some neat droids with that model.

How come you don't attach the antennes to the existing swbf droid model?

Yea I turned the model over to Minilogoguy for export like a week ago.
Dunno how much progress he has made if any. He has been working a bunch.
If anyone else knows how they are more than welcomed to try :p

i dunno how i could make it work just cause it doesnt fit with the skeleton and when i rig it nothing moves right which is mostly the head and neck and it wouldnt matter if i move the bones because they weould just reset themselves on export. im not sure if the battle droid used a different skeleton or not but my guess is that it probably did.

^^Dude, did u read the last post? They've got several complocations that have cropped up, and it will probably take a long time to fix it, if it's possible at all. Let the developers post news as they are able, instead of nagging them for it, which probably does nothing but annoy the moderators.
