Well Im absolutely sure I was able to kill most wookies with 1 hit using heavy attacks on kashyyyk wave mode.

Yes, that is because they have lower health there. You are considerably (comparatively) strengthened in wave mode (as you need to be to face hordes of enemies).
Regardless of number of hits, it will suffice to say that the heavy attacks are strong.

Nope. But theres a plenty of other completely new force powers that, with the help of the new melee combat system, will definately make you enjoy the mod even without force pull.
I'm not disappointed, quite the opposite-now that there is not force pull, when I go online when this is released there will not be any "pull noobs" to get people mad. so this is good. They'll just have to find something else to irritate people.

I don't really know what to expect in terms of non-hero units in this mod, because most of the talk has been around the heros themsleves. I know this is because it is a Hero based mod, but if a beta tester gave me an idea of what to expect in normal units gameplay, I would be much obliged.
Also, I was wondering what you thought about the force powers; are they greater role within the gameplay than sabers. In the normal game the main power to get big kills was saber throw, which limited variety greatly, because the tactics were 'slash, slash, jump, throw, slash' and that was about it. It would be nice to know what tactics people are using now.

The units are a perfect homage to The Force Unleashed and a good expansion over the game's universe. You have three tactical attack classes (a assault/support unit, a heavy assault/anti-vehicle unit, and a recon/marksman unit), three special classes with diverse weaponry and abilities (and I mean really
diverse) and a specific elite unit that accompanies the hero. You unlock them progressively and they come in hand at appropriate times during the conflict
Don't worry, once you play with them you will see that Dark Times brings a whole new level of strategic gameplay to battlefront, every unit has an important role in combat and a different (and fun) gameplay.
Edit: About the force powers, yes, they are now your primary form of attack. You can now control large crowds of enemies with your powers and eliminate them efficiently. Saber throw is still there, but in a smaller role.
I will let you find the rest by yourself when the mod is released.

Thankyou very much. I must say, I am very excited, but I would like to keep the majority of this mod a suprise to myself, I know so much about it already that I feel like I have already played it!

You are welcome. I still have much, much more to say about the mod, in my opinion it's
amazing. But I don't want to spoil the experience for anyone.

Actually I dont show any Pics out of Wave Mode,the new Force Powers/Combos
and the new Heroes like Starkiller,Kota,Shadow Guard,RotJ Emporers Royal Guard,
Units like Duros Mercenary,Mon Calamari Engineer Bothan Spy + a Ton More Units out of SW The Force Unleashed like Shadow Trooper,JumpTrooper and what not.
Guys.Trust me, you all will love to play again and again the official Maps i an ultra marvelous Dark Times Mode.
Besides of that you can play on some Maps a very head bannging Wave Mode.Each has a Mini Story with some Goals and is very challenging and Fun to play.
I wont to betray to much.

Really nice to see the bumpmaps worked out well on some of the ships I added them to; my computer doesn't render them so this is the first I'm seeing of some.

The seismic charges, as mentioned above, are something I've already done and saw no need to duplicate. It is a fun but ultimately ineffective weapon, and the AI doesn't (and cannot, since it is timing-based) know how to use it well. Since in addition to humans, AI pilot hero vessels as well, I wanted to make sure that they would be able to use all the available weapons, so there you have it.
