Imagine 3of11 would take Xwingguy's interiored (?) cruisers and put them in the DS II map - or the other way round.

ts 11of3 first of all. If he did we would all know it. If he does he should ask xwingguy b4 he does. He is doing the Death Star II outside and interior more then ships interior (at least of what we know).

i know master skywalker put in a couple of nebulon b's and i learned from him that the battlefront 2 game engine sucks.

Yeah well you heard wrong. MasterSkywalker doesn't know what he's talking about. If you know what you're doing this engine is amazing.

no the engine is extremly miserable......hello we are in 21 time age......you can expect much more than this......just the poly limit is horrible

The poly limit was set low on purpose so that guys wouldn't try to go 6000 polys. It's a fail-safe to ensure that during big battles the framerate would not drop due to high-poly soldiers and vehicles. The engine is capable of a lot, but the put fail-safes in.
I really see why they did it too. Look at Quake III, Unreal Tournament. When the game came out guys with high-end machines built these high-poly levels and models, and only a few could use them.

I told him that was impossible for the engine to allow a player to slice a hole in the hull of an Imperial Star Destroyer and jump into the hangar.
Name 1 engine that can do that outside a cut scene.

Wow... XW's right. What sort of engine can do that I ask? NONE. Part of modding is knowing realistic limits IMO. XW pushes the envelope, but at the same time he knows what can and cannot be done.

Yea, it'd rock if you can do it though.

The least you can do is code a hardpoint or something and even though you cant really cut it or anything, it'd just explode or w/e, and you can get in that way. But who would want to code thousands of little hardpoints in the hull anyway? So ya might as well just land in the hangar with a ship and go on from there.

Xwingguy, a guy from GF (FileFront forums) asked me if u like the following skin for Soontir Fel or Baron Fel (whatever it is). He is sexy111. He would like to know if u might want to use it and/or if u like it. He sends thanks. It looks like an impirel pilot with different modifications to it.
