The L8 format error [Solved]

I am getting this error:


Message Severity: 3
C:\Battlefront2\main\RedEngineFL\Graphics\Pc\Shaders\pcTerrainShader2.cpp(293)
TerrainShader_: detail texture expects L8 format!

which seems to be the reason, why my map crashs. It is the only severity 3 error and I already resaved all my textures in the world1 folder to solve it, but it didn't work. All the post I found about it did not really end up in a good solution.

Any suggestions?

What did you change before you started getting this error?

The last thing I changed was something in an odf file of an modified y-wing. But it nothing to do with any texture. The times before that I added some rocks to the terrain and created the y-wing as hover vehicle.

EDIT:
I somehow fixed it, after I got an error about the terrain_munge.exe not working. I deleted the modtools and reinstalled it, but it didn't work. I just deleted every terrain I had so far and replaced it by a new one.

After a while I deleted the y-wing and it worked...
