After you "become a fan" of something on facebook and then the thing which you became a fan of posts stuff on your news feed, is there a way to permanently clear it from your news feed? I've tried hiding it but whenever I log in again it appears.

To the right when you hover over any post you'll see the word HIDE on the right of the post. Click on it to hide that person/thing's posts.

IMO, don't become a fan of it if you don't want to constantly read about it.

Can an a Admin or mod please lock this? I've found out how to prevent them from writing on my news feed.

I didn't realize there was a double "hide" button. Hitting it once was to just clear it from your board so you can see your friends' status. If you hit it again, then it will permanently clear it from your news feed.
