Woah, I've gotta say, Impressive work, although it indeed
does look very much like Penguin's Tatooine valley. You really should do something, to differenciate (sp?) one from the other.

And making some terrain changes, dunes and whatnot, would be great.

Ditto but i think that it only looks a little bit like tatooine valley combined with utupau to me. His looks like a city though instead of a well valley.

This might be a bit of a drastic change, but you could change the ground texture to one of dirt, and the cliff texture to one more gray, like giantt slate rock cliffs. It wouldn't cause too much contrast with the buildings (I don't think), and as long as you did that to all ground based formations it would look different and nice. A drastic change, but maybe worth the time. Oh, and if you actually go through with something like that, back up the textures so you can revert it to it's original form if you don't like the finished product.

ah well nice ideas but i had my pc taken away (only had it for sunday - monday) so nothing new untill i get it back (posting from my wii) and yes i started map on sunday at 6 am and was up till 3am then i got up a 10 on monday went to sleap at 1am so thats like 26-28 hours of work

dude its in the middle of a content sized desert thares no water for 2000 miles in any direction and thares gona be a water fall ..... not totaly impossible thares just gota be one big aquafear around...no realy its a cool idea but not gona happen
as for the next map im gona make a utapau map thats gona be the bottom of a sink hole
and about the granite/slate idea i like it

No matter, I usually have alot of ideas but my brain seems to be empty today...
Is that Utapau map located at the pool where Obi-wan fall into?

i also plan on puting my kassyyyk and kothlis maps up on the forum then once im done with utapau and this one back to bacta war maps possibly untold battles or mabey even felucia dark forest

yes but the sides will be from vallants edit of the map
cis and reps
this of corse means you will need '' cis2 '' and ''212rep'' in the side folder of corse they will be included and for aros i have a desert camo rep sniper

oh yes just so every one knows the disk things that look like they are from utapau are just two tatoine props stuck to gether (tat1_prop_sunkendwelling from bf builder assets ) and the ai are planed/pathed to get on to the ledge and go all the way to the rep cp (near whare the a-6 was ) also how can i make the skiff a prop but still able to use the turrets
just so every body knows i have obg files of the disks,the a-6 with the turrets,the pill box,sniper tower,the large tower (the tapperd one and the octagone one) and two types of the building with two towers on them onings ,turrets, and droids in cluded for all of em il relese them along with the map

im also gona relese the sides but not my two sith lords (well maybe after ichorion,tascon-space,palaxia prime and my edit of mustafar ware gizor and trogsasea it will have B-2b's with flame throwers )by the way their names are tray'la and trogsisea

It doesn't look like there is any new ground-breaking innovations here...but it
does have one thing a lot of maps are missing these days: a fun layout. A lot of maps have been designed for realism or for crazy ideas but this one appears to be oriented torwards the fun factor for the player. I'm definetly downloading when it comes out!

its going good but i only had my pc for 3 days so i cant work on it right now
oh yes just to update il tell a few things
vechile update---
vec lasers dont over heat
anymore
aat&saber have shileds
cis--
aat
pilot - just drives
gunner - controls the lasers and missiles
commander - controls turret
the aat will have more armor and will be faster the turret can charge up to fire more powerful shot also you only get 48 missiles
combat stap
its the same as before but it has 8 rockets its much slower and more powerful
republic--
iftx 130 saber tank
pilot - just drives
gunner - controls the lasers and rockets
gunner 2 - controls the rapid fire gun turret new projectile also
the 130 is faster both forward and strafe has 20 rockets and rapid fire gun turret
a-6 juggernaught - HOPEFULY
pilot- just drives
passenger (six slots)
the juggernaugth is fast but unarmed moble cp has 6 passenger slots

Oh yea you told me before, and my exams are coming. I hope everything will be more smooth after 2 weeks time.
Sweet, all of the tanks have 3 slots, and the juggernaut will be moveable?!
