So I know how to put my skins in my own maps, but I want to put it in the maps that origianlly came in the game, without the conversion pack (ex. Mustafar). The editing wiki want's me to follow the tutorial for it, but we don't have the propper folders for it.
So ..
1. Is it possible to do this?
2. If so then how? Sorry to be asking so many questions, I feel a little annoying...sorry =[
(I searched this and nothing really matched my search.)

You need to create brand new sides then modify the MISSION.LVL with a hex editor (after backing up your original, of course) making the game call for your modded sides.

You can always replace the existing Side.LeVeL-files, Individual...

Well, Individual, go to the BF2_ModTools -> data_*** -> _LVL_PC -> SIDE -> Copy the Side.LeVeL ( And the Sideshell.LeVeL if it was republic, cis, alliance or imperial ) you edited, move it to Program -> LucasArts -> Star Wars Battlefront II -> GameData -> data -> _lvl_pc -> side...

Ya but if you modify the MISSION.LVL you can keep your original sides.....

You create your sides, then hex edit the MISSION.LVL to call for your modded sides.

..What does hex edit mean and how do I "hex edit"?
So I hex edit the mission.lvl of the map I want to put my modded soldier in and that's it?
Or is there more.
