Not so fast guys. I didn´t call for betatester yet i even don´t have a alpha version yet
Darth
Well i´m pretty sure you can create no killable peoples but i don´t see a reason for it.

If you're gonna have killable locals, I'd suggest making it a TK for the Rebels, but a kill for the Imps. (no points or kills added though) Would just make sense.
Anyways, the models look great, but the lighting seems to be off. It seems a bit yellow...and in t he movie shots it's alot more orangey.
Also, the sky color seems to be a bit too light blue. Again, knowing you, you're gonna have a detailed sky, and this is probably just a placeholder, but just thought I'd mention that.

Yeah, but those screencaps are from the DVD version of the movie, which, in my humble opinion, oversaturated a lot of the colors. I believe the old Mos Eisley looked a more like what he has.
Besides, it looks prettier.

rends i meant that they would walk around or run and hide screaming when someone shoots around them. Just in the movie mos eisley wasnt a ghost town
(p.s. they dont need to be unkillabale and sorry if u was planning to make locals walking and running around)

About the color saturation:
I saw the original Starwars in Cinemas 77/78. Well i can´t remember the colors but what i noticed is that the overall image quality suffered more and more everytime they broadcast the movie on TV in the 80/90s until the digital rescan of the original film in 98.
Perhaps what we see now on the DVD might be more like the original than we believe. Think about old movies from the 50s and the lack of colors and no i don´t mean old b/w movies

Anyway, playing with color settings 3rd parties ect... will be something i want to do last.
Before that i need to create all models and place them on the map not to mention AI pathing, gameplay and what else.

Actually, the DVD versions of the film suffer from what people call the 'lobster effect', so that in the scene on the Tantive IV if you look closely you will see that the humans have very red faces sometimes. So while I agree that they ought to be more orangish, don't make them as orange as the DVD version of the film.

Short update:
Here is a Zeroedit screenshot about what i´ve done so far:
There is docking bay 94 in the mid left ( notice the falcon)
The undergound level with docking bays in the mid (notice the pinky terrain cutters)
The cantina in the top right of the map.
The imp base is still missing. It will be located in the top mid.

If Rends makes it then it HAS to be good.
same style as ?_____? Tantooine Valley? (big, lots of units/vehicles/natives)
If you put natives in (which I recomend) then you should have multiple races/sexes that can shot back
if you shot at & hit them in the first place. have them killable and variable degrees of hostility
(run away -> shot on sight).
mark natives as yellow on mini map (like BF1)

Epena, yes there will be at least 2 different speeder models on the map. Lukes Landspeeder and the V35 Landspeeder.
about locals: I´ve only the standart Jawas in right now but i plan to include Jawas (without) weapons, Twiileks and 2 or 3 different droids
moving along the streets. There might be also some other citizens but i don´t know wich one yet. Depends on what i can get from the community (skins and models) and what not.
I will start with the imp base next weekend.
