@Yock: That's a bad idea. There are no locals in the movie that participate in the battle so it will ruin everything.

Well, he meant if he replaced a couple of local teams with Galactic Marines and CIS forces. How can that ruin it? They'll be fighting each in designated areas, and it will seem like the battle is really huge. I can actually see that happening.

I don't know if I'll do it though, because I don't want cps shown on the Mini map that you can't even
get to

ah, you want to separate the "locals" batte from the battle players can participate in? But why? See, in...Mos Eisley, for example, jawas are spawned from the same CPs as the CIS/GAR troops, aren't they? I dunno...does anyone know? Having a separate Battle just has two downsides: The players can't really affect this battle (except for a few snipers taking down targets), so it's the same battle every time you play it.
-and-
Ín some situations it could be illogical to still have troops fighting: When the CIS team has run out of reinforcements, and there are only some dispersed left, a large bulk of troops on the other side will appear very strange.

No, no. How's it weird that a different bridge wouldn't be secured? I think it's a really great idea, because it'll look like the whole planet, or at least a huge battle is taking place, without all the crud that a massive battle gives. Atmosphere affects alot on how good a map is.
And Elmo, you can make cps that are invisible.

You guys do realize that you can have seperate spawn paths on the other bridges, right? The CPs don't need to be anywhere near the spawn paths.
Personally, I think the local sides thing would be cool to implement. It'd really add to the battle. Since they're bots, it's not like they'd be scripted battles. It'd be different all the time, depending on how the bots fight. So you'd be able to see battles off on the other bridges, so it'd give the feel of a much larger battle. And then, you could make the local bots spawn from certain CPs, so that when you take those CPs, the local bots will stop spawning. So if you start to gain the upper hand on the regular bridge, your allied "locals" will also start to push back the enemy on the other bridges as well.

hmm.. yes, but i hope, it won't effect the reinforcement point count. If it does, then it's a definite no. But i think it will work out quite well if not

Locals don't contribute to the reinforcement count. They're totally independent from the two regular teams.

Take out the mygeeto fog,it looks like water!
And just make a recoloured slightly more transparent geonosis dust cloud, not the mygeeto fog.
[EDIT]:
Use that as the loading screen!!
I love it and without the action its still good.
And:Can i be a beta tester?

Nah, the bridge shot doesn't have any action..
the "water

"(mist) looks fine... It's not very noticable while you're fighting.

And it looks fine.

The only reason the 501st went to Mygeeto was to fulfil Project Hammertong. They may have fought in the area where the shipped map is set, but no where else. It was only a small detachment of the 501st after all.

Oh thanks Rekubot for telling me I knew they wern't with much but if you say so than I immidiately believe you so no 501st than

No, I'm not going to put
any flyers into the battle, this is sctrictly a land map. TuskenJedi had the perfect example why. And, I'm sick of land maps with flyers in them
If anything, I'll put gunship props or, anims of gunships landing ( if i can get any)

maybe if you do the sky dome with explosions and gunships flying that would be awesome.

maybe, maybe... Thire, will be testing for sure. I'll allow 3 beta testers... Thire, FullMetalAlchemist, and--- Some one else!

whoever asks first, gets the spot.
Edit: I've gotten Majin's sides in.. but I'm encountering problems with the assault mode... I still have lots to do in terms of sides.
