Seems to be a problem with the portals between the Nether and Gametostia. When returning to Gametostia from then Nether I fell into the Void and died, twice. If anyone has had this problem, yeah it's not fun.

Whenever I go through the portal, this appears to happen, but never actually does. I'm not sure why you actually fall though. Maybe the world just isn't loading quickly enough for you.

That might be a your end problem with (like Grev said) the world not loading fast enough, because those portals work fine for me.

That might be a your end problem with (like Grev said) the world not loading fast enough, because those portals work fine for me.

As it turns out, the portals don't work fine for me anymore. Sigh.

The teleporting feature doesn't work for wolves, anyway (I found that when I used a portal, the wolf didn't auto-teleport beside me like it does if it strays too far away, even if it was the same world, so I had to teleport back to where I was and walk him home), so if you want a wolf to follow you, you're going to have to walk.

[ontopic] Still worth it to have a wolf imo. Still havent played Minecraft.

Aaaaactually,
They're SUPPOSED to teleport. After you tame them, if they get too far away from you, they do a mini-teleport and jump right next to you. But it doesn't seem to work if YOU teleport. The wolf just disappears until you go back to the area where you left them. Then when you get close enough to that vicinity, they'll teleport right to you.

EDIT: I tried joining, but I keep getting the "End of Stream" error. I tried restarting minecraft, restarting my computer, re-downloading bin, still nothing.

Idk why you're getting the End of Stream error. MasterBen was having the same issue. The only "solution" found on the Minecraft forums was that those running Windows XP SP3 would always get this error and needed to run Minecraft on a different OS.
Other than that, it seems to be a problem related with your personal connection to minecraft.net, usually a problem on their end. The good news is that unless you're running XP SP3, the problem seems to be temporary. Try getting on today.


ON A SIDE NOTE:
I fixed to Nether>Gametoastia portal. All portals should work as intended now (this gives me an idea for another contest involving a reward cake...). Yay Portals!

Ok, somebody griefed me multiple times, in my main home they broke the lava tube and filled it with water and flooded my top floor, then in my other home they broke a ton of stuff around my house and stole my carpet or something to that effect, but I fell linto the lava lake before I could see. TW, I think you need to install that Big Brother plugin, because I've also seen a few other people get griefed as well.
EDIT: They also broke into my secret room and its firepit and poured lava over part of it.

I'm running windows 7, so i don't think it's the xp issue. Still getting end of stream though :\

Can you connect to other servers?

EDIT: Dynmap broken cuz the author was an idiot and wrote the config file all in one line (it's actually like 4 lines long in Notepad, but there aren't any endlines, so its one big mess of code). I don't have time to fix it now, but I'll fix it when I get home.

This has got to stop. The griefing/pranking has gotten out of hand. Almost to the point where the harmless pranks are being blamed on some mysterious mass-greifer who hates GT. I'm going to be getting to the bottom of the griefer problem as soon as the plugins stabilize for Minecraft 1.4 (read: soon. Very soon.) and that issue will be dealt with. As for the harmless pranks, at least do the victim the decency of leaving a sign that says something like, "Dear So-and-so, Gotcha! Haha. Signed -<Yournamehere>" so that we know it was in good fun with no ill intentions. If no name is left (or actual property damage/theft is commited), we will assume you are a malicious griefer and actions will be taken if you are caught.

If you head to the Nether and down to the basement "Portal Hub" theres a portal labelled "War!"

Added. I put their "GT Name" as "Grev's friend" for each of them, I hope that's alright, lol. At least until they get GT accounts (if they want to) and post on here.

Also, dynmap is up and running again. But then Autostop broke. It's been broken, apparently, but it only breaks some of the time. For some reason or another, the server is taking longer to shutdown (might be because of War, idk), so when the server tries to restart, it hasn't fully shut down yet, meaning there are two servers trying to run on the same port. Chaos ensues, the server that is in the process of shutting down is like, "I was here first, gtfo." And the server trying to start back up is like, "Fine, be that way," and leaves. Sad day for TW.

ANYWAY, removing AutoStop. I'll be replacing it with a plugin that just saves the server every hour (half an hour? It really doesn't matter to me, it's just /save-all, nothing RAM extensive. Up to you guys, I guess), so if it does crash, we won't lose much data.

Lastly, there's a new contest in the works, so be on the lookout in the near future. I need ideas for prizes, though. Cake? Cookies? More chainmail? Something totally different?
