RAS Prosecutor: Hangars - Released!

Hey guys. DarthD.U.C.K. and I have been working on this map for the last four to five months or so. Just recently, ANDEWEGET had enlisted to help out with it. This map is more or less the "sequel" to Republic Commando: Extraction from last Fall. Unlike its predecessor, this map won't have the three difficulty levels of the same game mode anymore, among other things. A single mode called Extraction, derived from those concepts, is used instead. A few stock modes have been added as well.

Extraction mode is essentially:
  • Play as a Republic Clone Commando and protect the designated command post (the Extraction Point) from being overrun by CIS forces.
  • The CIS wins if they take the command post. The Commandos win (after completing a couple of objectives) if they manage to kill all of the CIS units.
  • The CIS loses if their reinforcement points are completely depleted. The Commandos lose if the CIS takes control of the command post for 19 seconds.
  • Single player is exceptionally easier than multiplayer online.
The included stock modes are 2-Flag CTF, Hunt, and Team Deathmatch.

i think the biggest difference between delta 47s map and our map is that our map is build out of 90% custom assets which allows us to have more fresh designs and generally a bigger level of detail.

we neither use neomarz's nor the one ripped from rc, we use mine. i looks like this:

Awesome! Loved The incoming Lucrehulk!(The soundtrack always gave RC it's tension!!:D)

however we dont have any droiddspenser in the map. we didnt find a way to implement them convicingly into the game. having just a static dispenser with different droids spawning around wouldnt have been satisficing.

Oh... my .... god.... This must be a dream, someone pinch me, I must be dreaming.

I really love RC:E, i still play it almost everyday. I managed to beat it on medium solo a few times.

I will be watching this mod like a hawk. I can't wait :)

The Republic has four clone Commando classes to choose from just like last time, and they are:

A lot of the ODF's have been tweaked to some extent since the last map. And again, the Commandos are outnumbered this time one to five, but they do have better defenses.

"To whom am I speaking to" is redundant. "To whom am I speaking" or "Who am I speaking to?" are correct.

I wouldn't normally make mention, but if you're scripting in dialogue it's the little things that you'll miss.

I will be looking forward to this, specially for DUCK“s models, those are the best RC models made by a modder; and the mode that sounds great.

Yay!

Love the RC game references in the trailer. I think this map is going to create a much firmer link between SWBF2 and SWRC than Extraction did.
