Yup, it worked. I added a section for info on the NR on tuesday ( http://www.freewebs.com/njomod/newrepublicinfo.htm ), and i'll probably do the one for the vong tomorrow (thursday). i have even less to do at school tomorrow than tues, lol.

No you don't, you can make models with any 3D package, as long and you can export them into a format which XSI supports.

Alpha is offering to work on peoples websites (like ours) to make them look better, I was just wondering what you guys thought about it and if the website is really that important or not.

Well for now thats good, but when we acctually get some media and start advertising the mod it would be better if we have a better website. Use to do websites but havent touch html or websites in a while. The major problem that i see right now is the backgrounds, tilling like that isnt not good, also some of backgrounds are way to bright. One suggestion would be to put them in photoship and make them on tone (Like a Blue) to match with the rest of the site.

If you want i can give a try at making a template for the site.

i could probably help with some of the art for the site as well if you need it, and, yeah, the tiling isn't good.

i say, if alpha's gonna do that for free, let him take a shot at it, if not, let raingod do it
if alpha's willing to do it for free, that'll let raingod have more time to work on models

and do we really wanna go with a blue tone for the website, i mean, i like blue, its a pretty color, but it makes everything seem too peaceful, completely un-vonglike.

Of course I'm doing it for free, lol. What color scheme are you going to want? I'll map out some templates when I can to show you want possible concepts are as soon as I can.

It's Aurubesch (the widely spoken and written language of the star wars universe) in the background, it says some random stuff in it too. The last line is "guru is the best jawa avatared admin in the galaxy". http://www.freewebs.com/njoswbf2 this is the homepage now, the banner is a placeholder, because it's stretched so it's not amazing right now, but this is kind of the layout that it consists of right now. I condensed factions and maps into their own spearte pages to conserve space. http://www.yourdomain.co.nr is the co.nr hosting address.

No signups till January 15th and the new banner looks a lot better, it also says we could get a .com site for only $2.95 a year which I might look into...for later if the mod is popular enough.

but arent banners usually rectangles? or am i thinking of something else? and that one doesn't really look square anyways...

added vong classes to the old website, btw, still need to add vehicles and spacecraft, as well as a couple misc things.

o i just found where trans got those pics of the vong/nr armor from on star wars wiki. unfortunately it did not say where they were originally from

It also has a good pic of a space battle with skips and a warship in the background.

Also I think we need a page on the website that is dedicated to basic info on the Yuuzhan Vong for people who are interested in the mod but haven't read the series, which will probably be a lot of people.
