Well, I am currently working on a map called Thule Moon: Remnants.
The map will feature the Galactic Empire Remnant against the New Republic.
The map will have many vehicles left over from the Clone Wars. Some vehicles are even half-useable. Hop in a crashed LAAT/i and use on of the ball turrets.
The two heroes on the map are Grand Admiral Thrawn and Luke Skywalker. Also, there will be a new class for the Galactic Empire Remnant: the Imperial Storm Commando.
Expect to see new vehicles such as the New Republic Armored Speeder.
I have some pictures to show off, too. Here they are:
I hope you all are looking forward to this!!

LOL, I don't think it will be as large, considering that there is only one era to play on.

everything looks good except for the placement of vecs. The one restricting thing about most of your maps is all they are is a vehicle playground which is cool to mess around with but not great in the long run.

Looks cool Majin. I remember this planet from the Clone Wars video game (a fun game by Pandemic) and you seem to have it the exact way it's seen in there. I agree that an open plain vehicle map isn't good news for on-foot troops, so I suggest that you put some Tatooine rock formations in the map (of course you'd have to retexture them to fit in with the setting). They're really useful for scenery and gameplay. I strongly recommend you put these in if you haven't already.

Anyway looks good and I look forward to playing it!

Curious why you choose the storm commando as a new unit.

LOL, the story. Here it is:
Well, this map is about the Imperial Remnant deciding to take Thule Moon as a tactical military stronghold. This would expand their empire, and the New Republic does not like this. Luke Skywalker has been sent out with New Republic troops to stop the Imperial Remnant from expanding. Of course, Grand Admiral Thrawn, being a tactical genius, is leading the battle. He has even brought in the elite troops that he loves, the Imperial Storm Commandos.
The moon is a barren wasteland though, cluttered with broken and half-broken vehicles and equipment from the Clone Wars. Beware, because many of these vehicles have working turrets. Some of these vehicles are even useable.
Today, I will be adding two new vehicles for the New Republic: the New Republic Stealth Speeder and the New Republic Heavy Speeder.
They already have the New Republic Armored Speeder (in those screenshots), an advancement of the Rebel Armored Speeder.
Also, I will be doing something sweet: both factions can use any vehicle. Prepared to be surprised as you see New Republic troops jumping into AT-ST's and other Imperial vehicles. And, the Imperial Remnant troops will do the same with New Republic vehicles. The battlefield is no longer safe.
The Imperial Storm Commando intrigued me. I had plans for it before it appeared in Rhen Var: Ice Gate.

With their Storm Commandos and Grand Admiral Thrawn as leader, the Empire will be favored...
I like this idea !...

One thing to throw out: Should the imperials have elite training? Since Thrawn is leading the battle shouldn't he give the troops a boost of morale due to that fact?...

In Reply to Leviathan:
But then again wasn't it just Joruus C'baoth who really made a difference with his battle meditation(whatever it is...)
It's been a while since I last read those books... :/
