Orange box killing my mod tools ?!?

ok well i turned on my computer this morning, decided to continue my work on my mappack and hey, guehat, the mod tools aren't working anymore ... actualy only zero editor .... and i really don't get whats the problem so i decided to pinpoint the last things i did which was instal the orange box, bioshock and oblivion ... now i don't expect any1 to fix this but have any 1 of u ever had this problem ...

Define "not working anymore"
No response? Crash? Error message? Doesn't open anything? Big explosion?

Did you update any drivers for the Orange Box?

not that i know of and the not working part is that the little opening logo appears ( the 2 pandemic heads and blah blah ... then it freezes and i have to shut it down with ctrl - alt- del
-edit ... windows actualy tells me its not responding and closes it

I believe there is a faq on how to fix that. All you need to do is make a Bat.file that forces something...I forget, but in anycase, you should check the faq thread for it.

well i looked up most of the faq and can't find anything to help in my situation ... has this ever happened to anybody else ... and i might try to uninstall it but i dont wanna do that unless i know it will fix it
