That 7-unit shot was from development, or a private executable.

Naboo: Prototype is actually a big field area with a few building zones. It's different than the Theed you see in the trailers

I think Psych0fred said they had a hard time balancing the K-Wing and the IMP Shuttle, which is probably why they were cut. I know I heard that from a Pandemic staffer back in the day, but I don't know for sure it was Fred.

Don't forget the Rebel Alliance's Hovernaut

just as a contribution for this- its not much however, if you look at the Pregame videos (map selection screen) you will see some nice things removed from the final version.

Geonosis: in the Spire the Hologram is not the same (poorly) developed final Hologram that plays in our map today. - i can not make out quite what it is tho.

Yavin Temple: The spawn point is blue, however i do think this was brought up, Also the backdrop is a day and in the final it was dark with the planet from the loading screen.

Bespin CC: The ramps have blue bars under then such as to show support, i saw no other reason for them atleast. - (The same blue bars that are used in the hallway window)

Bespin Platforms: The sky, i could arguably say is a different backdrop then what it is today (unsure), along with the CP you see has 2 extra models around it. such as an addition or another prototype for the CP's again i'm not sure.

Endor: The Bunker has a CP above the building in one of the passing frames.

Kamino: as was said before had many ships, turrets ect.

Naboo Theed: sporting somewhat of a different layout i know this has been brought up in past post in this topic.

Hoth: The Rebel Vanguard shown in a close up in the tunnels has the rocket that the Wookiees ended up with.

i've yet to notice other changes in the pregames.

The old thread is over half a year old. I'm sure I wouldn't get thanked for bumping it. So I started this new one. I've updated the list with some stuff on where certain things can be found.

I'm working on a list of things that got cut from Battlefront I and their reasons. I could use some help, even with the more obvious stuff.

So, here's the list I have so far:

UNITS:

-Bothan Spy
-Imperial Officer
-Clone Commander
-IG Tactical Droid

-Alternate coloured Jet Trooper (Blue in trailers, red on case)
-Alternate coloured Clone Sharpshooter (black markings)

MAP FEATURES:

-Kamino: Tipoca City had gameplay like Bespin: Platforms, but I guess this was in CW only.
-Naboo: Theed had a different layout. This version can actually be seen in the video showing the level on the select screen.
-Naboo: Prototype. No assets were released with the BF2 Mod Tool. Teancum converted BF1 assets to BF2, I reconverted them to BF1 (found here: http://www.mpcgamers.com/smf/index.php? ... ew;down=62 )
-Geonosis had a different layout. I couldn't make it out, but it appears as though one could also play GCW there too.
-Bespin: Platforms - featured destructible tibanna gas extractor CPs that were cut from the final game.

VEHICLES:

-AT-XT, believed to have been cut but not actually meant to be in the game. Avaliable in the Conversion Pack Assets.
-AT-PT, cut for unknown reason, perhaps unfinished? psych0fred has made it, it's also in the Conversion Pack assets.
-LAAT/c, during the changing of the code from The Clone Wars, the code for this to work broke and was never fixed. It would have dropped AT-TEs off like in the Attack of the Clones movie. (Thanks to Teancum for clarifying that). Apparently, the spawned AT-TEs explode upon landing. A flyer-only version has been released.
-Sentinel Shuttle, reasons unknown, only chunks were released with BF1 Mod tools. (Balance issues?). Available from psych0fred's site, and BF2 mod tools, possible Conversion Pack assets.
-MTT, reasons unknown, included with Mod Tools, works as-is.
-Naboo Starfighter - reasons unknown, only chunks were released with BF1 Mod Tools. Found in the Conversion Pack Assets.
-K-Wing, again, very little source files and no reason to be cut, perhaps unfinished. (Balance issues?). psych0fred has released it, it's also available in the Conversion Pack assets.
-Flash Speeder, replaced by the Gian Speeder in the CW Campaign only.
-Alliance Hovernaut - a mobile CP, but I haven't yet got it in game. Released as an asset by psych0fred, and also found in the Conversion Pack assets.
-Dwarf Spider - cut due to time constraints.

OTHER FEATURES:

-6 units playable. Psych0Fred and BattleBelk had achieved this but it is unknown how exactly. It would require both a shell recompile and possibly a common.lvl recompile to make the six unit options fit in the window. Psych0fred even got 7 units in, but the slots did not work. It is possible, but at current we do not have the means to do it.
-Blue CP Holograms. THis was changed in favour of green holograms in BF1, but it appears they changed their mind for BF2. It looks to be hardcoded so it is probably unchangeable.

I know there are others, so any ideas?

My bro, Snake has modded the Clone Commander a hundred times, all you have to do is copy and paste the .odf over another .odf that is used in-game (Like Clone Trooper) and take out the rep_inf_weap_grenadelauncher (I think that's it) and put another weapon in :D. That's a weapon you can add to the list (nade launcher). For some reason it is in the clone commander odf file but there is no odf for the gun!

@ The Admin: I wanted to err on the side of caution, considering that the topic was half a year old, well over the limit for bumping. I suppose I should have asked first ^^'

@ Fett - you sort of missed the point. Allegedly there were 6 units in the game at one point, but the extra sixth unit got cut. I know psych0fred and BattleBelk have tried to put a sixth unit in but psych0fred no longer works with BF1 and BattleBelk has since seemingly disappeared too, so I don't know whether he succeeded in getting six units working properly.
