Xcom! Does Anybody Remember Xcom?

I personally love this game, does anybody here still remember good old Xcom? If youve never heard of it the basic gist is that aliens are invading the Earth and you are in charge of the newly formed earth defense agency: Xcom. As you manage your base, down alien ships and capture aliens you unravel a massive plot of Alien domination, as you fight more aliens you will have to adopt and adapt their technologies to yourself because the aliens are getting stronger and rapidly expanding around the world creating bases and terrorizing the worlds major cities, stop enough attacks or risk the member nations cutting your funding at which point you lose and earth is doomed. Good luck.
IGN awarded it the #1 PC game EVER and Gamespot had nice things to say about it too. The game is OLD, but it stands the test of time very well. Now that i just reinstalled it on my computer its consistently beating out company of heroes, Civ 4 and Medieval 2 for my spare time.

You can download the entire game for FREE, and yes it is legal. There was a patching issue a while back so they just released Xcom's 1 and 2 it out to fileplanet as a free download. You can still download Xcom 2 there (basically the same game) but they took down Xcom 1 for w/e reason. However it is still legal to download Xcom 1 (which is the better anyways).
And yes even though i have this game already installed on my compy i tested the link out to make sure it was safe and virus free before i posted, i installed and everything and it worked fine
PS: keep in mind that this game is hard. Poke you in the eyes then slap you in the face hard. In tens years of playing this game i think ive only beaten it twice so GL itll prob take you some time to learn the ropes
