Well, I've been trying to back up the force unleashed 2 on my portable hard drive and I have 80 gigs empty disk space left. I've been trying to copy the force unleashed 2, fallout new vegas to it. Together thats about 10 gigs. But when I drag the files onto the disk it says 'file to big to be copied to this destination'. I deleted the recycle bin, deleted some crappy games. But still can't copy. Whats up...

A, or all the files are too big to move.
Try copying over parts of the games at a time.

EDIT: I don't want to reformat the disk, it has too many games that I need (lol). Theres so many I can't back em up on my normal computer.
EDIT 2: I can copy folders with files into it, but if I have a winrar file over 4 gigs it won't copy. This needs to be reformated... but I can't.

I've had to format my external HD before so what I did was I cut (I didnt copy the files because cutting is faster) everything off my HD into a folder on my desktop. After I did that I checked the folder to make sure everything off my HD was there (just to be sure) then I formated.
If you do this, make sure you format into NTFS. I didn't need to simply because mine allready was.

Just copy the really important stuff, like the really, really important stuff. Then format.

if its a desktop, you can get another internal HD.
