Sniper position - How?

Hey,
I would like to have a sniper position in my map. So that the snipers go to any place I want.
HOW?

In Zeroeditor_guide.doc search for HINT NODE EDIT MODE. It'll tell you what you need to know.

Assuming you're in the HintNode Zeroeditor tab, there should be an option on the left titled "Type"
There, after you click it, a list of options appear.
The default is set to "snipe"

Nothing surprises people more, then AI that place mines.

It shouldn't have to have any name in particular. So long as an AI walks somewhat near the node on their way to somewhere they'll stop and use it.

This ´snipe´ only influences AI with unittype = scout right? And for mines? Do you need mines, or unitcode= pilot? (in the soldier odfs i mean)

Pretty sure that the snipe node goes with the scout unittype like you said. I know that for mines any unit that has some kind of dispenser weapon will use it there (so you won't just see mines, you'll see detpacks too).

I know this sounds terrible in terms of modding but, what are the hint nodes? I have never ever used them...
Is there a list of something of them?
