I wouldn't want to spend all that time testing something that may not work correctly.
Yeah, I think I'm just going to reduce pollies for that backstop and save time.

Because it takes a lot of time to move a file, change an ODF line, and munge a side. This is of course assuming that you have a test map.

I reduced the pollies on that backstop. I still plan on expirementing with triangulation though later.

That is really awesome, looks like what I would expect a lamp in a mine or sewer or something like that to. And I'm sure it'll look a ton better too once you get the bumpmaps and glow applied.

The modeling looks good, but you should really fix the UVs on the ends of the walls.

Hi guys!
These are two models that I created for my WIP, a Tri-dorid and an LR-57 Droid (Retail Clan Droid). still working on them, I just want to know your opinion (I have not yet exported and I have added skins). I can not export bones to walk because I work with XSI ModTool, but find a way of appearing in the game, perhaps as a turret.
Tri-droid
LR-57 droid:
Any suggestions are welcome.

The LR-57 just looks... just like the one in the movie!
The Tri-Droid looks about as good as Mande's if I do say so myself. Of course, his is textured and has animations, but I'm sure you'll get those soon enough.

No, not yet applied animations, but I wonder if using the modified bone structure of a normal unit, I can get the LR-57 as a new unit.

Fallout 3 Computer Terminal
168 Tris, 256x256 Texture
The texture still needs more detail and better depth to it.
EDIT: Whoops, here is the Wire.
