Removing Terrain Textures [Solved]

Due to my own foolishness and relative inexperience with ZE, I thought I could put in 10 different terrain textures in a map. I used one as a base, and had the others overlap it. Naturally, there were many places that had 3 terrain textures trying to blend, which we all know leads to ugly terrain non-blending.
Well, I noticed this and tried to correct the problems, but I only ended up making more non-blended areas. And, to my dismay, I couldn't find a way to delete the base texture or any other one for that matter, I could only keep piling on textures and switching texture priorities (which texture would be shown on top). Finally, I took all the textures I had used and turned them all blank by having the texture panels call up nothing. But those panels, i.e. Panel 1, Panel 2, Panel 3, etc, were still applied to the terrain.
In a last ditch effort, I took the last four, unused, panels and gave them the textures I wanted to be foremost visible, i.e. one grass, one rock, one sand, one brick. And now, even with just two textures ever being in contact with each other on the entire map, I still get blending issues.
Is there a way to wipe the entire slate clean, or say, go back to the default textures, or make it so that the Panel 1 takes up the whole map and the others are blank and are not applied to the map at all?
