I'm trying to play swbf2 on my laptop with external monitor, and the monitor is pretty big but when the game tries to load the tv says invalid format.

I have no idea what to change in the game or Windows, any help will be hot

Does the monitor work before you launch BF2? Can you get your desktop, or any program on the monitor?

Yeah I got it going but it was a real hair puller.
I had to mess with the options in Control Panel > Adjust Screen Resolution, but I get to play in almost double 1024x768
