Pertaining to using the Mass Effect assets; I would not use the stock models; they are far too taxing for Zero. I would most definitely build a whole new low poly using the Mass Effect 3 model as reference and then bake the actual texture to the new low poly model. So really, textures would only be used.

If this were allowed by the staff here at Gametoast and over at Bioware, the turnaround for custom models for this mod would increase ten fold. I could also basically make any model we would ever need in a short amount of time.

Textures aren't too much of an issue; I can reverse engineer almost any textures that we would want to use. The only areas that I have problems in are skin textures. If you can reverse-engineer a model from ME3, get an AO bake of the higher poly model, I can work with it from there.

Video of the M-451 Firestorm's new particle effect. :o

Image

It's supposed to look like it's brushing up against a wall or an object or something instead of *always* traveling in a (relatively) straight line. Also, you can't really see it in Particle Editor, but there's also a blue flame at the base of the orange flame that travels a very short distance before quickly fading away. :)

So yeah basically Marth has gotten really good with Particle Editor, way better than I ever was.

TNA really outdid himself this time. The Alliance marine is swish but this is even better in quality.

Looks fantastic! I mean, like wow! You have a very good modeler in your hands and this work he is producing will help make this project even more great.

Like I said before, TNA has really outdone himself. I personally can't wait until the little glowy-light is added to the eye.

Wow. That looks really good. Somehow that's how I always pictured the Geth when I imagined ME on ZeroEngine.

One of my guys managed to upload more video for this mod. Nothing from marth's recent update but still important/relevant none the less.

re:Abominations.

They're pretty much just slightly more powerful Husks with one exception. They start to burn, catch on fire, as their health decreases. When they die they explode. True story. ;D

re:Ravengers.

We'd love to have them, but the amount of work would be great to pull it off. So it's unlikely. Definitely not for the 1.0 release, if we even get to include the Reaper side for that. Ugh, time.

Quick, to the Delorian!
