Well, I'm interested.
Eh, who cares? It looks like the Darth Maul episodes will be a lot of fun to watch. I don't really care about canon anymore, as long as I'm entertained.Twilight_Warrior wrote:Soooooo Cyber Maul is now canon? But not the currently-existing Cyber Maul story that was deemed uncanon...

Normally I'm OK with what the show does, probably because I don't know a whole lot of the EU it supposedly contradicts, but cyber Maul, and his coming back to life in general, including the existence of Savage, rubs me the wrong way.Twilight_Warrior wrote:Soooooo Cyber Maul is now canon? Don't get me wrong, I feel the same way. I watch it and I enjoy it and I'm past the point of letting the writers' decisions affect me negatively. I still find it hilarious, though.Eggman wrote:Eh, who cares? It looks like the Darth Maul episodes will be a lot of fun to watch. He's had a lot of years in isolation. That often changes people.THEWULFMAN wrote:Teancum wrote:How can you glean a personality from one spoken line in TPM?kinetosimpetus wrote:And it looks to me like the TCW Maul won't 'match' the TPM version, like, the personality looks wrong.
Actually that's exactly the point. Maul is a silent character, in the show he seems to talk up a storm.
Just look at Yoda. Yoda in ESB and RotJ is A LOT different than the Yoda in the prequel trilogy. Maul's had ten years to himself, with the Sith ways of anger, hatred, and lust for revenge to keep him company.Teancum wrote:He's had a lot of years in isolation. Also, did anyone catch the color scheme change in the opening logo?

You are correct. Should be very interesting!ShadowWing wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong, but the next episode, "Revenge," will be:Hidden/Spoiler:
