Wow i watched the last Umbara episode yesterday, it was so strong, he's probably one of the smartest vilain. And i loved the references of The return of the jedi in the Zygerria episodes. And the trailer of Darth Maul return is :faint: .

Soooooo Cyber Maul is now canon? But not the currently-existing Cyber Maul story that was deemed uncanon...

Eh, who cares? It looks like the Darth Maul episodes will be a lot of fun to watch. I don't really care about canon anymore, as long as I'm entertained.

Normally I'm OK with what the show does, probably because I don't know a whole lot of the EU it supposedly contradicts, but cyber Maul, and his coming back to life in general, including the existence of Savage, rubs me the wrong way.
Hidden/Spoiler:
And it looks to me like the TCW Maul won't 'match' the TPM version, like, the personality looks wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I feel the same way. I watch it and I enjoy it and I'm past the point of letting the writers' decisions affect me negatively. I still find it hilarious, though.

How can you glean a personality from one spoken line in TPM?

Actually that's exactly the point. Maul is a silent character, in the show he seems to talk up a storm.

He's had a lot of years in isolation. That often changes people.

Just look at Yoda. Yoda in ESB and RotJ is A LOT different than the Yoda in the prequel trilogy. Maul's had ten years to himself, with the Sith ways of anger, hatred, and lust for revenge to keep him company.

Dang. I completely missed the most recent episode. I hope it's good. Secretly, I've always thought Maul was the coolest Star Wars bad guy (after Vader), even though he never had any depth. He just looked like he was going to be cool. I hope the episodes do provide SOME depth to Maul, so that he'll look cool, and actually deserve all the bad-diet Dr. Pepperness he emanates. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how good/bad it is. Please be good. :maulsaber:

"Brothers" was a big step down from "Massacre" and "Bounty." The opening five minutes were very hasty and all the cameos felt tacked on. Why not open the episode with Savage arriving on Lotho Minor? Anyway, I'm excited for next week's. Seems like these two episodes should've aired back to back, though. "Brothers" doesn't stand very well on its own.

Agreed. What was the point of Anakin and Ahsoka appearing? Having Ventress appear made sense, though, as she was in the previous episode.
This episode was kinda strange. I'm not sure how to describe it, but... strange. It could have been made better.

Also, did anyone catch the color scheme change in the opening logo?

Yes, I did notice the color change as well. I think the episode was not as good as it could have been, same with bounty. Bounty was the first episodes in four seasons I didn't finish due to apathy. I liked mentally physco Maul, pretty creepy. :maulsaber:

The red logo was a nice touch.
Hidden/Spoiler:
Ventress' cameo made the most sense, since she fights Savage in the finale.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the next episode, "Revenge," will be:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Darth Maul + Savage VS Obi-Wan + Asajj?
