Awesome work! Can't wait to play this fantastic duel

Of couse, you should make it the way you wan't it to be, but have you considered leaving Saber Throw out? I really think you should. Otherwise the AI won't be using any other attack, which I think is really sad.
Leaving Saber Throw out will not only make the duel more climatic (or move-like) it will also affect the gameplay, alot. Nobody likes a beatifull map, where the only point is to throw sabers at each other
Well, that is atleast how I see it
Good luck with all of your projects.
Best Regards

Thank you

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels Saber Throw makes the game boring and unrealistic. By the way, I recently found a mod on Filefront, it actually removes Saber Throw (And Force Lighting). Lord-Bandu, if you decide to leave Saber Throw out, then I suggest you ask the author of this mod for help about removing it, if you don't know already
Well, here's a link to the mod:
http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.co ... _Mod;57154
And as you can see, the author is known as Sasha2410.

yea , the emporor really annoys me with his lightning dumbness lol
I will most likely give Jedi more health , bigger force jumps and either edit the saber throw so that they dont use it as much ( if possible) or take it out completely.
I also would like to make the saber block more usefull .... i will look into this.

Great!

Just what I needed to hear!
"I also would like to make the saber block more usefull" Woah! That would be awesome, can't wait to see how you're going to get along with that

Really looking forward to your maps, man.
And I was so right when I first described you on MSN as "one of the best modders but never finishes his projects"
Let's hope this gets finished.
Anyways, I noticed that your Theed Palace map wasn't on that list. You dropping that?

Wow, you chose all the maps I wanted.
Then again, Drayata is the only one that wasn't truly requested, but it still sounds cool.

This looks awsome, its right one so far Bandu!
But, a couple of little things
1) Qui-Gon is a big part of the fight your doing, so do you plan to get a hold of one some how or in some shape
2) Those sheild things that turn off and on with the chasm that maul fell in

Once iv finished 1 map from the list i'll put Theed Palace on it.
Bit of an update-
Iv remade the walkways , im in the middle of unwrapping them.
Iv improved the surrounding wall texture significantly. Much more like the movie now.
Experimented with the reactor tubes to get a more movie realistic look.
Experimented with different lighting.

1 Question: Will the qui-gonn look like in the movies?? Cause it would really sucks if we got a half-done qui-gonn...

Not to be rude, but people constantly saying "It has to be this way" sucks too. We all do the best with the tools and abilities we have. Deal with it.

I know but Lord Bandu is really good with making maps so what i was asking= will the qui-gonn look good too. And it was NOT to be rude or anything cause i've seen some good qui-gonn's already. So if you thought it was rude: Sorry

Just so theres no confusion , the map will be a normal assault jedi hero/villain mode. At least for the beta.
For the final Id like to add Qui Gon .... whether I make a new model or if one gets converted , im not sure yet.
Also for the final , Id like to have an extra mode where its Maul, Qui Gon and Obi Wan .... however this mode wouldnt be that good for single player. Obviously the same goes with the assault mode ....since the ai wont jump from platform to platform but there will be spawn points on every platform so the ai will be everywhere .

I'm not trying to Hi Jack your thread Bandu

but
Right now I am converting a Qui-Gon model for Teancum's Conversion map. I do believe it is meant to be released to the public onces it's in Teancum's map.
I don't have a problem releasing it, I remember Teancum saying he would release anything he did, but I don't want to put words in his mouth. So, maybe Teancum will see this post or i'll ask him.
I am also making a custom Qui-gon saber handle.
(Sry if it was supposed to be a secret Teancum... I don't think it was..

Wouldn't it be cool if you could make it like a AI versus Human fight? Like if you gave Darth Maul a little more Health and made him the AI. Then 2 Human players could play as either Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan. You think it's possible to make that happen?

Just get another person then you can have 2 v 1
You could have 2 humans v 1 ai but it wouldnt be much of a challenge even with maul having boosted health etc

Aksel3's idea is still intresting though. You could give Maul like 3 times normal health, and additional force powers. I'm just saying...
I think the "additional" mode should simply be Clone Wars Assault.

BFII "duels" dont really work right now. Its basically how ever hits first, hits last. So really the map will juust really cool, not exactly a recreation of maul vs qui-gon and obi.
But I was thinking, is it possilbe to change saber combos?
- Make them act as block as well so its not like everyones punchin bag
- Make combos last forever, so you could repeat like 10 times (Why would a jedi/sith just quit attacking?)
If the above is possible that would really escalate saber duels, just wonderin
