I did (well not m, but someone else) this tent thing on XSI which is a plane and a few sticks, but there is a problem. The tent is skinned and almost fully working, except that when you look at it from under it disappears.

Any reason for this?

You need to flag the polygons of the plane as transparency type 2, which will cause them to render backfaces.

I know how to use transparency.. I just didn't know it was also useful for this. Thanks to the both of you tho! *feels dumb*
