I am trying to combine two seperate stock player model meshes. I try to get the parts I want off of one model on to the other, and then delete the rest of the first model, but these blue vertices and polygons always stay, and I can't delete them. I am sure this has probably been answered before, but as since I don't know what the blue things are called I can't use the search function to find a suitable topic.

You'll never have just floating blue lines that you can't delete; if you see them there is a polygon somewhere you haven't removed. Other than that, the light blue lines are normal; they're a line that doesn't border a polygon on both sides. There's no reason that you have to "fix" them, but if you want to you can always weld them to other lines.

Ok, so basically just ignoring them is okay?

Cyan colored edges are border edges, most everything in XSI uses a distinct color so the end user can recognize certain things or issues happening in the scene, think of it as idiot proofing. If for some strange reason you run into some components that won't delete by normal means then just select them and press alt+delete.

"Idiot Proofing"? That's the kind of thing I need.
Thanks guys for your help.
