Problem with objects.

i do this in zeroedit:

and this happens in the game:

so i try this with terrain and a tunnel, and it happens the same, like pic 2:

i try to connct, a bunker with a tunnel.
the 2 bunkers, where only a test, and on pic 3 i do this with a tunnel and a bunker.

can you post a pic, where i can see how it work, i try a view thinks, but it wont work.
i dont understand how this will work with the terrain cutter.

so, where is my failure, i did make it like the hoth bunker or not?

In the second screenshot, you appear to be looking at the back of the polygon normal. Can you post a screenshot from the front of the bunker? See my reply on lucasarts.

the front of the bunker is in the terrain after i munged it and try it in the game! thats my problem

and yes i read the post on Lucas Arts, and see the pics.
How, did you make this, im going crazy with this problem.

in zeroedit, i have a texture for the terrain, but after i munged and start the map in the game, there is no texture. the map is complete white.
maybe this is the problem with the bunker?
the bunker works only right, when the terrain have a texture?

ok, now i post a step by step tutorial, waht i try to place the bunker on my map.
first i make a new project, and copie the hoth_main_1.tga. and option and the hoth_detail.tga from the shipped hoth folder to my msh folder in my project folder. then i copie the bunker files from the shipped hoth folder in odf and msh in my odf and msh folder.
now i open in BFBuilder my project.
first i make the texture.
under TEXTURE: i write, hoth_main_1.tga and press enter and under DETAILS: hoth_detail.tga and press enter now i place the texture on the map around the spawn points. now i go in heights mode and make a small mountain for the bunker.
after this, i go in objects mode und open HOTH_bldg_bunker.odf.
with the left mouse button i place the bunker on the small mountain.

now i save the project in the world1 folder.
and close the zeroeditor.
in BFBuilder, i klick first on the clean tes1 button, and then the munge tes1 button.
in the DOS window is a erro message:
Missing file test1_map.texture
required by ..\..\..\worlds\tes1\tes1.req
after munge i copie the tes1 folder in the addon folder from battlefront.
i start the game, and this happend:

i dont know what is wrong.
i say a friend, to place this bunker on his map and he said, it works.
i dont tell him how i do this, so he make it his own way.

i have 8 files in the msh folder from the bunker and the tga and tga.option files from the hoth textures and 1 file from the bunker in the odf folder.
thats all, for testing.

edit: all other people i ask, to try it, say it work?
did i have a problem with the BFBuilder, i installed the BFBuilder new it dont work, i download it again, ti wont work with this bunker and now i see no texture and no mountain i made for the bunker.
and what mean this error message:
Missing file test1_map.texture
required by ..\..\..\worlds\tes1\tes1.req

"test1_map.texture" I think is your test1_map.tga, which is map which shows on selection screen ( like my with orange, green,... zones), which you did not make.

and i think, i know the problem with the bunker.
i would test this with a other terrain texture.
i use the geo1.tga and place it in tile0 from the texture mode, and i see the texture in the game, without place it with any the terrain brush mode.
when i do this with hoth.tga or a other hoth texture it wont work.
is this the problem?
i cant try it in the moment, i have a problem to make mountains with the Height edit mode(see the other post from me)

yes i did.
i try to place the bunker on hoth.tga and i wont work. so i tried the same with the other hoth.tga files (likehoth_main_1.tga and hoth_main_2.tga and so on)
i do the hoth.tga and the other hoth tga files in tile0(one after the other).
after 2 days, i try to place the bunker on the geo1.tga and it works.
i do the geo1.tga in tile0 too.
with the geo1.tga works the bunker without problems and i see a texture on my map.
with a view hoth files i dont see a texture, with the rest i see a texture, but the bunker dont works.
maybe there is a problem with the hoth.tga or hoth.tga.ption
and the other hoth tga files?
i mean, with geo1.tga works the bunker and i see texture and with the hoth tgas i see no texture and the bunker dont work right.

i try it with hoth.tga. ok thats wrong.
but i do the same like you too.
i copied
hoth_main_1.tga
hoth_main_1.tga.option
hoth_main_2.tga
hoth_main_2.tga.option
hoth_main_3.tga
hoth_main_3.tga.option
hoth_main_4.tga
hoth_main_4.tga.option
hoth_main_5.tga
hoth_main_5.tga.option
in my world1 folder, i selcted the tile0 and typed over notexture.tga, hoth_main_1.tga and in DETAIL i typed hoth_detail.tga.
then i painted the terrain
after that i munged and show what happen in the game.
and the map is complete white.
now i paint with the other textures over the first i painted, not complete, on differnt places, and the only texture is see is the hoth_main_2.tga.
the rest i white too.
i did the same like you i think, dont you think?

another problem with object.
ok, i made a new project, than i start the editor, and make the terrain heights, after this i put a object on my map.
a geo_bldg_bunker.odf, on this i made a controlzone and spawnpath and regions. i do the same for the other faction.
now i munged the project, and test in the game, if the object on the right place, like in the editor, because i had a few problems.
but in the game, the object is turned around 180°.
why, the only things i do, is what i write, above!

edit: i start a new project, and the only thing i do, is to put this bunkers on the map, and to test what happend. and it happend the same, but in this test i only but the bunkers on the map.
i installed the editor, again, before i do the second test!
