Bf2log vanishing

Post by Culvar »

Whenever I get a crash my BF2log dissappears before I can read it? So i need help on either how to fix this problem, or what is wrong with my sides.

Sides:
Well I used busterkinkade tutorial on skins. All I did was change weapons, and the models to ARC Troopers. Thought I did create a rep_inf_arc_green.tga and rep_inf_arc_pack_green.tga. It could be rep_hero_fordo, but he seems to work ingame fine by himself. If you need my side files or lua to know what is wrong I will not hesitate to zip them up for you.

Signatures of any kind are not allowed here. As to your problem, you're saying the bfront2.log physically gets deleted when you shut down the game?

The text out of it gets deleted after a second before I can read it

Sounds like an issue that doesn't really have to do with SWBF2, but try this:

Run the modtools.exe like normal, but when you're done, DON'T open the log. Click on it once, then hit CTRL+C (copy) and then CTRL+V (paste). It will make a file called "copy of BFront2.log". Try opening that.
