Blind Tanks

Is there a way to make it so that tanks don't ignore infantry? They seem to just glide off on their own right past whole plattons and unless someone shoots at them they don't even notice. not that the infantry really notice the tanks either... Any ideas? Is there a script command for making tanks attack infantry/other tanks on sight and vica versa?

Well, do you know how to make AI infantry use certain weapons against other infantry, turrets, vehicles, etc.?
Hint (off the top of my head):
Code: Select all
AITargetVehicle = 1
TargetVehicle = 0
TargetBuilding = 1
Etc. Add in the lines you want your tanks to target in their weapon ODFs and that should work.

You could also try changing this line
NoCombatInterrupt = "1"
to
NoCombatInterrupt = "0"
What the line means is, if it is set to 1 and AI is driving, ignore combat situtations and proceed to objective, meaning in most case a command post. By setting it to 0 then they should stop and engage.
