Artus Prime (Updated - 4/19 -Screens added)

The map takes place on Artus Prime

I have never played the game this is from but im doing my best to make it look like it does in screens I have seen.

Conquest:
The alliance hero is Kyle Katarn and for the imperial side they have Jerec.

Hero Assault:
If you would like to help, then I need ideas for character, and I would like if someone would make a model for Desaan and im sure other people would like to use him.
Otherwise it will be default only with Jerec and Kyle added

Looks good :thumbs:

It may be a little empty in some spots though. More landing pads and platforms may make it look fuller, along with miscellaneous props (more boxes, crates, rocks) Is there an at-st that goes down there? I hated those things in jkII: jo, lol. I can't remember if this was the level it was on or not though.

Perhaps you could make a skin for these prisoners:

Well, in the last pic instead you should take out the connector leading from the ground to the platform. Instead, put a elevator or something like that. Also, put in a bunch of pipes over the river of acid, like in the game, so people can get to the other bases. Other than those things, it looks good.

What models are you using? The map looks col, but needs more cover and things to take up space, like debris.

You can make lua scripted elevators, but I don't think the ai will use them. It's best just to keep ramps. Perhaps you could have both.

Its kinda of hard to do this and make it like the other game when ive never played it so anyone who has played the game this is from please help me out. So there is a river? what does it look like? is it green or what?

I guess I might add a atst

I know its empty but thats why im asking everyone what to do

Which models? I know I used a hoth base recolored a bit so it would fit, a bespin platform, kashyyyk oil refinery and a custom wall model Ace made for me (isnt it awesome!) and polis massa crates and a little box caleb made

It looks pretty good. I would personally add some caverns or something, but I too have never played. :)

Ya, I meant the wall, the one with the searchlights and stormtroopers. Any chance of that being released? Or maybe you can gets Aces permission to send it to me? :yes: :P :yes:

Maybe sometime after I finish this map and put together some more assets ill make a pack and ask if I can include the Wall

Maybe ill throw in my Jerec skin (and others) and some custom effects (Fireworks!)

I found a pic of the river and Im gonna add it in

Gee, there's tons you could include. You could put the cavers from ARF in there, they'd fit. You could put the green acid river in there (at the bottom of a canyon), you could put the landing pad where

Basically a large landing site with stone walls and a few ships. You could put in a magma working factory, too.

As for what's already there, I'd suggest making the door near the prisoners much bigger.

Overall, great map for someone who's never played the game!

Lol, I was too slow. So you're gonna add the river? Make sure its at the bottom of a canyon and is a darkish green.

Before I planned to add it I already had a perfect place for it. I didnt have a pic because it was just empty. Yeah its green

where is the place where Kyle fought him or where should it be I should say

Okay, and I highly suggest adding those tunnels I talked about. I'll try to go ingame and find a pic, but the ones in ARF are pretty close. Then you could add those evil crabs if you want...

Yea, but the ARF tunnels where never released.
Better to use Hoth or Rhen Var tunnels and reskin them.
If you want, I also have Squipple's original glowing gem, which wasn't released before.

Need to:
-Add damage region for river
-Darken Cave
-Add some sort of bridge

What would help is a screen of the Desaan landing pad

Wow i think the map looks cool, especially this platforms. But i think you should reskin those kashyyyk pipes and the hoth tunnel entrance to match the map a bit more.
