The gray doesn't blend too well with the yellow, in my opinion. A lot of the texture details get lost in the yellow areas. I suggest making the yellow a little less saturated, and then it should be fine.

The new buildings look great, and vary the look to make it less drab. Personally speaking the other buildings have a little too much yellow-green and not enough tan/brown, if you catch my drift. I think color shifting those textures will make all the difference.

Ok, I will I think.

How do you mean by "drab"? It's quite hard to colour shift without getting onto the complicated task of hex editing but I could do it with Rend's stuff. Haven't imported much of it yet, only been experimenting on colour and texture. Anyway, bad news, I'm not going to be able to get as much done from now until Christmas (thats compared to what I've done in the past few days), but I'm spending a few days in London before Christmas and a week away in Northern Ireland after it. I really want to try and get the beta out before Christmas, but atm, theres a long way to go.

If you want me to look at the textures and give you a bit more of the 'sandy-tan' look I can. I use Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks regularly at home and work.

Hmmm... they look nice. But can the clone troopers have the DC-15 carbine instead of the DC-15a??

Sent PMs remain in the outbox until the receiver has opened them.

What's the difference? Lol I know nothing of weapons in Star Wars :P
501st_commander wrote:QFT and maybe add a little more grey..?

I can't that's the problem :( The buildings all use the same repeated texture, and most of them are using one out of 4 yellowy textures. 1 bit of grey on the texture means too much grey, I guess.

Honestly, whats wrong with using the DC-15a? (the stock longrifle) We see to much of the DC-15s Carbine(the custom model offered by the 1.3 patch) anyway

*also, yes i see the pauldron differences, the trooper's pauldrons go in a perfect curved arch, while the engineer's uses the stock model*

Not much to update, but I've decided that it's nearly time to release a beta for this map. In the beta each team will have 7 units each (1 custom, others alterations), or maybe even 8! The map itself it almost finished (for now, needs a bit more detail) and I just have the planning and finishing sides to do. Anyway, if you would like to beta-test this map, just ask and you will probably get a spot. There are 7 ( ) places (at the most, depends how many people want to do it), they are:
1.Teancum
2.Blade117
3.Null_1138
4.Master_Ben
5. lesovikk1
6. Darth_Duck
7. Darth_Spiderpig

Christmas is only a week off today now and I hope to get the Beta released by December 27th, with the version 1.0 some time mid January. Anyway, if you want to beta just ask on the topic.
