Password on USB-stick

Does anyone know a good program to make the USB-stick ask for a password before i can see, delete, save, edit... a file on the USB-stick??
it should be freeware

It depends on the usb stick. What brand do you have?

i know there is a software, U3, by ScanDisk, but i haven't a U3-Stick

I dont think there is a password software for that drive.

If it's absolutely necessary, you can just zip up the contents of your USB drive and then give te zip file a pass.

i know some software but at one i have to pay for and the otherone Cryptyp or someting like this i don't understand

yes this is someting like what i'm looking for but 2 questions:
1) if the USB Secure.exe is deleted what will happen?? can i get my files or ate they loosed??
2) What is the different between the full and free versio??
But if there is a programm were you can't delet, and post files on the USB it will be gread.
EDIT
I test it and i see it's not so good for me because it's not compatible with portable apps. now my autorun file is deletet and i've got a file on the USB-Stick i can't delete

Move
all of your data you want to keep on you pc, then reformat the drive.
