Do you know the time bomb weapon that makes a seismic charge explosion, and makes that cool sound? Instead of the effect being to blow people up how do you change it to still make the sound but them to just get discenegeate?

Use the stock recon droid's self-destruct explosion, which disintegrate units on death, as your starting point. Change its sound, have the time bomb use this new explosion ODF, etc, etc.
