Hey, I got KotOR 1 for Christmas for Xbox and I'm at the part where I have to find Mission in the Undercity but I dunno where to go to get to the Undercity. Do I use the same elevator that you use to get into the Lowercity or is there a way to get to the Undercity from the Lowercity?
Any help would be great.

Ok, so I got into the Undercity and I joined up with Mission and I dunno where to go from there. I'm supposed to go to the sewers, but I dunno where to find them.

It's out in the Rakghoul area. There should be an entrance (two?) at the far end along the wall.

Yeah, there are two. If memory serves, one's really easy to reach, but it makes you take a longer route through the sewers, and the reverse is true of the other.

Ok, so now I'm at the part where I have to face the Rancor and it's really tough. One swipe of his hand and your dead.

You can equip a stealth generator and sneak past it. You're not required to fight it. Or, if you have plenty of grenades, toss one, then when it sees you, back up into the corridor. When it turns back around, run out and throw another grenade, then retreat again. Keep doing this untill he's dead. However, unless you have a lot, and I mean a lot, of grenades, I'd say do the first option. That rancor has an unbelievable amount of health.

Or check the corpse just outside the area. It has some sort of item that attracts rancors. Then in the area with the rancor, there's a pile of bones or corpses that you can check. When you check it, click the 'give item' tab (or something similar, I forget the exact names). Give it any type of grenade or mine, then give it the rancor bait item. It is very important that you follow that order, because the menu automatically closes out after every item you give it. If you try giving it the bait first, the rancor comes over right away and eats the pile of corpses before you have a chance to put any explosives in it. If you do this correctly, a cutscene plays where the rancor comes over, eats the corpses, and then has the explosive go off in its stomach, killing it instantly.

Ok, so now I'm in the Vulkar base garage and I'm talking to one of the Vulkar guys about getting the prototype but I dunno what to do. Should I betray Gadon or stay on his side and kill the guy? I tried killing the guy but then I got slaughtered since he has that invincible shield. Then I tried to go kill Gadon but got killed that way too. I dunno what to do, can someone please help me?

KotOR's all about making choices. Just make one, see what happens, and then when you've beaten the game you can come back and make all different choices. That's the fun of it, in my opinion.
And if you're interested in the mechanical applications of actually making the choices, you can check out the sites I've pointed you towards two or three times, or you can look up KotOR on GameFAQs - it has comprehensive strategy guides for pretty much any game.

Ah, yes, I forgot about that. Been a while since I played the game.

Why should we keep posting little answers when people have taken lots of time to post
entire walkthroughs?

Indeed, and its not that hard to find out where to go.
You should play Dark Forces of Jedi Outcast, there you will have real problems to realise where to go or what to do.
And its not making fun to play a game if you ask every step, you should explore the game, not go the same route thousands of gamers made before you.
And you should always check out your map, you will see there where is east and where is west.
