Or just have the same effect when you get burned by Boba.

Anyway looking good Mav. Keep it up. I know you have other sources but my help is always there if you need it.

Announced, not released.

You people will probably hate me for this but...Any ETA Mav? There, I said it, flame away. This just looks so amazing. I think that the Dark Times is probably the highest quality side mod in existance.

Hehe dude you just asked the WRONG kinda people to ask a ETA for. Big-time modders like Mav and Tean and etc. take a LOT of time to get their mods done. And in the end, their work is ALSO much unique from other mods. More time, more content.

We don't flame bud, just be patient. NEVER ask for an ETA, be at ur best for that. Cus imagine, if you were making a map, how would you feel if EVERY post was asking for an ETA? And not giving constructive comments on how to build the map right.

Trust me, giving ETAs can break hearts, cus what if he CANT finish by then? hmm?

So, no matter how amazing it looks, plz don't ask ETA :P

Fiodis wrote:At any rate, the stun blast's (if that's what it is) rings seem perhaps a bit too far out of line - though of course the only time I ever saw a stun blast was in EP4.
It's not the same stun weapon from E4; I don't know exactly what the Riot Gun is supposed to look like so the particle effect is essentially expanding offset concentric rings - resemblance to the stun setting is completely incidental.
Blade117 wrote:You people will probably hate me for this but...Any ETA Mav?
I don't mind being asked, but my answer is always going to be the same - I don't have an ETA to give simply because I don't have one projected. Once I get to the point that I can narrow down what needs to be done, I can guess, but even then I won't say anything, because I don't like making promises I can't necessarily keep. Also, I don't even know what the full scope of this mod is going to be yet.

So here are some visual updates of previously-shown units:
Sith Stalker:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Image
I went ahead and added the sabers as addon tentacles. They don't do a whole lot of moving, but they fit fine and don't clip into the model.

Militia Elite:
Hidden/Spoiler:

There was a nice reskin done of this on a kitbash model, and I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to update the model for that anyway. So I did.

Okay - here's the last planned new hero/hero-support unit update I have. I won't say whether I'll decide to add more in the future, but I said in the beginning that so far I have nine new heroes, and this is number nine. These new heroes are in addition to the five old (pre-GCW) heroes sticking around for the true GCW sides (Darth Vader, the Emperor, Shadow Guard, Yoda, and Rahm Kota).

And I know that I've so far stuck to "canon" heroes, but for this particular instance I couldn't resist indulging myself a little:

Hero: Vace Thermill
Hidden/Spoiler:
Image
Image
Weapons: Modified E-11 Carbine (charge), EH-11 Magnetic Tow Cable, Detpacks
Vace's weapons are fairly straightforward. His carbine can be charged up to fire many shots at once, and detpacks are... detpacks. His "tow cable" weapon is the grappling hook you may remember from "The Big 'L'." It does not move you to any specific objects, rather, it locks on to enemies and pulls them down if it hits them.

Hero Support: SpecOps Infiltrator
Hidden/Spoiler:
Image
Image
Weapons: FWG-4 Flechette Pistol, Blaster Remotes, Thermal Detonators, Health & Ammo
The Infiltrator basically relies on one weapon - his flechette pistol. It's like a rapid-fire shotgun (although it does less damage per shot), and while it overheats quickly, it's a very powerful weapon. He also carries deployable blaster remotes as backup.

Since I'm done with units (for now), maybe next time I will update you on the maps I'm adding? We'll see.

Very nice Mav, the Sith Stalker is a great model, not to forgot the infiltrator. I loved Dark Times 1, and this looks, in my opinion, even more promising. Keep up the great work

QFT, they look wicked!
One thing, I'm not one to suggest this but I think that the blue stripe on the Militia Elite's wrist plating looks a bit out of place. I'm not sure if it's meant to be that way, though.
Really, really awesome work! :D

Oh {diety} maps too? One more thing for my comp to not run. MIght you not make them graphically uber for the sake of those like myself, who cannot run such things and they become a waste of HDD space because of their lack of useability (is this even a word?). Don't get me wrong, maps are good, but useless maps aren't. (no offense intended, just in case anyone takes offense)
