Is the [GT] Mod Server going to be turned back on?

for now the gt server will not ever be appearing. WE have had to use the other server for others uses. people have been running other mod servers but yea the official gt server for mods may never return.

Perhaps when Conversion pack 2.0 comes out, we can find someone willing to make a dedicated server, and have the server be conversion pack 2.0.......

if the game could run on unix servers with the dedicated server software i have 4 servers we can run it on non stop.

Oh well. I guess GT will have to mooch off other people's servers....

I think I could host it. We have like 5 Pc's; one of which we don't even use. I might be able to convince my dad to help me turn it into a server

Didn't your server keep going into a lag storm that kicked everyone out?

Well, the one that i'm going to set up will be dedicated hence not as much lag...

guru, who was the one that found the stats page, as in the application that logs the stats for the old GT server and posts them on that stats.gametoast.com site that used to be up.

Was it u or Steve or Teancum or some1 else and who knows alot about it that can talk with me about it?

As for my Mod Server, I discontinued it because it was not getting enough popularity. People complained it was too big and a people kept crashing. And only four people ever showed up: Fragme, Caleb, lastJedi, Thire, Jackscratch, and me. Maybe I left somebody out, but in any event it didn't seem worth running

I will put it back if enough people care though
