ok bear with me on this i'm new to it. I don't know what im talking about so feel free to correct me with gusto.

Ok, first off creating human(...er character?) models. I know it's hard due to the nature of the process combine with the troble xsi has been giving everyone. I must admit i've had trouble digging up information on models or models themselves, is it possible?

Ok second, is there any kind of information source beside here and psychofreds page that can explain it in more detail? I have a lot of questions and i don't know where to begin, like :

I create a basic model, but are there specific naming standards for certain points like "bone_ribcage"(taken from dookus odf, where cape attaches) or is that all user defined?

also collision meshes, are these just rectangles or are do they really just look like low poly versions of the original?

I know that meshes are compiled, so you can't edit them, however can i download a non-compiled version of any model to mess around with(not to use in any way just to mess around with) is so what extension am i looking for?

anyway just getting started and hard to know where to begin

Collision meshes can be any shape you want, but if you want realism, it is a basic rough outline of your model.

I'm wondering the same. He's been eating up my bandwidth learning. :P

I use 4.1. I don't know what the version range is for the exporter from pandemic, so it may or may not work with your version.
