I think both are good ideas i think given the BF:2 capabilities map 1 would be easier and therefore you could make a better effect with it but if you could pull map 2 off it would probably be better but very difficult...so if it was my decision which it isn't i would choose map 1
Yep and since I've got the objects needed for 1 working now, 1 it shall be.
BTW YaNk 2 things:
1. did you get my PM?
2. i'll have a beta out for maloss with survivor mode (see thread) included in next few days, wanna try it out?

I had the idea of using geometry I made in the Tomb Raider Level Editor, spicing it up in XSI and making a map from it. Something like my old "Temple of Khamoon" map (not a rip but made from scratch, never finished)

1. Make NJO themed maps
2. Make maps based off of
THIS completely fanon war
Let me say that option one will be tough, making new vehicles and new sides and all, but option two will be
super tough, since new weapons, vehicles, and sides will have to be made, and some battles will have four different factions fighting each other. And then there's the difficulty of making maps. I'm currently leaning toward option one, but I want to see what everybody thinks. Also, just to be polite, I believe I need to ask the creators of the fanon war for permission to make maps based off of it.

Ok, so I got permission from the Cruentusian War creators to go ahead with this. They also want me to start working on the sides first. I have no experience making sides, so not only will I need help, I'll also need a mod team to do this with me. I'll need a few mappers, and a few good modelers, and some people good with .lua and sides. So, does anybody want to join? Keep in mind we'll start on the sides first, not the maps.

yes a nice city rpg. and not being able to kill each other and being someone your not....that sounds very good but isnt that like the dynamic project?

I'd like someone to do Future War Terminator stuff, please. 40-watt Plasma Rifles, TechCom soldiers....technicals (Improvised fighting vehicles) with the rocket launchers or plasma turrets on them, ruined buildings covering the maps....the maps all having a post-apocalyptic setting. ALL Plasma weapons fire purple like in the first two Terminator movies. HK Aerial and Tank variations....possibly the 4 legged walker variant that was cut from T2. Yeah, you get what I'm going for.

I think someone should make a nice icy cave map. Maybe with a large one-room cave with hallways on the side. Might do it myself later when I have the time.

Nope. Not that I know of. It would be really hard to do because Jabba would need new walking, moving, etc. animations.

Ah, how could I forget yours! Sorry about that I completely forgot about Ralltiir and its one of the best maps for racing because of the layout and the nice round track.

I just had an idea for a game mode that I believe shouldn't be all that complicated, at least for a new mode.
Space Deathmatch: Two teams are pitted against each other in space. The goal is to completely wipe out all of the enemy's reinforcements, maybe 150 reinforcements, every ship has less health, and there's maybe a 10-min time limit. In the end, either the team that has reinforcements left or the team with the most (after the time limit is up) wins. More AI and ships would probably be needed, though, so that it goes by quicker.

So that bad modder returns with another (and pretty awsome) idea....
what about doing a courasaunt (spelling wrong on that...) map on where Zam Wessel had tried to attack anikan and obiwan? where anikan had jumped off the ship thing?

Okay, brilliant new mode. It's called duel. I came up with this a long time ago, before Mav had a mode called duel. Anyways, it's supposed to recreate famous Star Wras lightsaber duels. For example, Ankin vs. Obi--Wan on Mustufar. Okay the teams have just one character on them, and there can only be one person on each team on the field at a time. Both jedi/sith have high health, regeneration, can block by attacking, and, if possible, Mav's revamped saber combat! Let me know if you think it sounds cool.
