Wookiee Bowcaster. Forgot to add shot elevate and increase velocity, and I intend to use the KotOR version of the bowcaster model, but it's late so another day...

(You may also notice some other updated fx.)

That's a pretty cool effect.

Exceptions
Rebel currently uses an A295 msh, but I think I'll have him use the DLT-19, like the imperial.
The SBD has no nades, but a lot of health, is pretty slow, but has a double barrelled heavy repeater instead of a standard rifle.
This was on the unit overview on page 1, sorry if you've already changed it but I suggest you vhange the alliance heavy rifle msh to that of the DLT-20a, which is the stock alliance sniper rifle model.

Why? I think the current weapon is fine.

DLT-19 was used by the Imps and the DLT-20a was used by the alliance. Just for accuracy purposes.

That unit doesn't use the DLT-20A because that rifle is already being used as the sniper rifle for one of the sides. Also, many blasters were leaked to/stolen by the rebels from the empire or companies that made weapons for the empire. Both of my GCW sides make some use of the DL-44, DLT-19, and DH-17 Carbine.

And another update to part of the quote. The SBD currently has a double barreled rifle, not a heavy repeater. it is about as effective, even though it is less powerfull, but more managable. SBD's can also melee.

Thanks :)
Aaaand the next day after making the video I change it so the bolt goes faster on the low charge, there's a middle charge at 1 second that simply shoots the bolt at a faster velocity and does a little more damage, and a full charge is 2 seconds and fires the orange bolt, but the explosion is a conc nade. seems balanced ok so far. the unit isn't all that effective against close up or swarming stormies, so for close quarters I'll give the Wookiee a sword. Chewbacca will not have this version of the bowcaster.

And... reskinned the roughage on this model a while ago, but didn't post it in the model showcase.

AFAIK it is done now, although for this mod specifically it hasn't gotten the special damage effects, plus it has to be reskinned for a few variants and camos.

New model. Based on the Pilot Luke model.

Looks very nice but why have you triangulated it ?

I haven't yet.

I've answered this already, but I triangulate a) to make sure small shapes don't disappear when munging, b) so I can control triangulation better than munge.

Yep, once I'm finished defining the shape, I'll clean it up and triangulate.

EDIT: Added some shapes, redid edge flow, adjusted eye sockets.

Yeah, I agree on the eyes, I need to fix that.

The skin is an edit of the stock rancor skin. I looked for good reptile scale textures online, but the rancor was better than what I found.
