Naboo Kaduus

Has anybody gotten the Kaddus from Naboo to work? -(DW)- Big Rich and I are working on a naboo based map and if somebody could help us out with the kaduu we'd really appriciate it. They dont work right when we place them. The animations are broken and we dont know how to fix them. We've even tried giving the Kaduu the Taun Taun animation but all we get is a taun taun shaped kaduu with a really freaky head.

ill look into it. should be easy.
if you have the Bf1 assets it would be a peice of pie and/or cake

Nope... We've tried both the BF1 animations and the BF2 animations. Artemis and I worked on it for a long time. For some reason it's just broke in BF2.

I worked on the kaduu, it worked but the model was f*cked up, the AI could use them (they had a very wierd walk the kaduus) but when I tried to use them the game just crashes

yep, they wont work unless you want to go through the totally painful process of making a new one

im going to work on them sometime when i have the time. this interests me.
currently im working on a pack of sound fx .sfx files to release, so when modders want to put any sound in, the can simply add the given to their sfx and req file without worrying about a crash. Because ive had enough of that.

The fact is that it will probably need a combo file to work properly. But even then we can't be sure. The fact is that it's got major problems and I'm 99.999999999% sure we'd need to have the fixed and re-exported with new anims.

Couldnt you just recreate an odf with references to the pertaining assets. And making a combo file wouldnt be that hard, just compare it to the taun taun.

Yeah, that's all been tried. Trust me.
And when I say making a new combo, that includes re-exporting the animations FOR that combo. They just don't work in BF2.

Oh. Well in that case I doubt we'll be seeing kaduus anytime soon.

And I can see why. Its not exactly a crucial 'vehicle' in the star wars universe.
